Easy Sauerkraut Soup Recipe

 

Sauerkraut Soup Recipe Ingredients:

  • ½ pound sauerkraut
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 ½ cups water
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 1 lb. smoked sausage of your choice, sliced
  • 1 tsp. dried dill weed
  • 1 can (15 oz) carrots, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) sliced potatoes, drained
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. Minced garlic (Optional)

Instruction:

  1. In a 4- to the 6-quart slow cooker, combine cream of mushroom soup, chicken soup, water, and chicken broth. Sausage, kraut, onion, carrots, and potatoes are all stirred. Add dill and garlic seasonings.
  2. Covered and cook for up to 3 hours on low or 1 hour on high flame. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve Hot, and Enjoy.
